So far, it’s safe to say Kanye’s having the best year ever.
Less than 24 hours after debuting “All Day” during the 2015 Brit Awards, Kanye stopped by BBC to chat with his UK homie Zane Lowe. If you’re envisioning the same Kanye yelling, “we are the new rock stars,” think again.
Kanye’s far more focused on his vision than he was when he visited Zane Lowe eighteen months ago. Of course, you’ll hear the same rhetoric about fashion gatekeepers, his Adidas deal, being “for the people,” creativity, and support from his fans.
Speaking about the pricepoint for his coveted Adidas Yeezy Boost, he says:
“Exclusivity is the new n-word. Not nigga. Exclusivity. That is the new n-word. Because nothing should be exclusive. Everyone should have the same opportunity to drink from the same fountain.”
