More news regarding the fallout of Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson‘s annulment proceedings continue to trickle into the spotlight, as domestic violence charges against Johnson have been dismissed and the WNBA star says she plans to stay in Tulsa during her pregnancy.

According to Knox News:

“I am ready to begin focusing on my health, pregnancy and am going to remain in Tulsa to continue to build my relationship with the Tulsa Shock organization, and my teammates,” she said. “I appreciate the support of my fans, family and loved ones and look forward to returning to the basketball court as soon as I can.”

These developments come off the heel of last week’s news that Griner admitted marrying Johnson was a huge mistake.

In April, the former couple was arrested on domestic assault charges against one another. Yesterday, it was revealed that the charges surrounding the incident had been dropped, though each woman will face a 7-game WNBA suspension, with Griner’s starting at the beginning of the 2015 season and Johnson’s starting when she returns to the league following maternity leave.

According to Bleacher Report:

Johnson and Griner were arrested on April 22 at their home in Goodyear, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix, on misdemeanor charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

Russo said the prosecutor in Goodyear considered Johnson the victim and chose not to proceed, in part, because it is difficult to treat the same person as both the aggressor and the victim. The case was moved to the Maricopa County Attorney’s office, which filed a motion to dismiss before the judge granted it.

Charges against Griner will be dropped following the completion of court-ordered 26-week-long domestic violence counseling.
