“Really Don’t Care” artist Demi Lovato really doesn’t care about taking Ariana Grande‘s spot as concert headliner for the MLB All-Star game on July 11th. Lovato’s rep confirmed she snagged the spot yesterday, though she and Grande have yet to comment about the switch on either of their social media accounts.

Grande has been facing backlash since her recent anti-USA comment at a donut shop in California. The 22-year-old singer was spotted kissing her backup dancer and rumored new boo, Ricky Alvarez, where the two were apparently playing some sort of dare game involving jelly donuts (which first of all, is already weird). When an employee brought out a fresh tray of jellies, Grande foolishly stated, “I hate Americans. I hate America.”

You’re the one shoving your face with donuts for no reason, Grande. And jelly donuts nonetheless…you could’ve at least picked glazed.

No word on whether the “donut incident” caused concert coordinators to (literally) pull the plug on her “All-Star” performance.

Lovato, on the other hand, seems to be making positive strides in the music biz. She just released a new single “Cool For The Summer,” which she performed for the first time last week in New York. The young artist also plans to release her next album sometime this year.
