After being denied bail for a second time, Bobby Shmurda is looking at a lengthy prison sentence – but the Brooklyn rapper still remains positive, despite his legal situation.

Yesterday, Bobby gave Hot97’s Ebro a call to clarify rumors and allegations that have been circulating in the media. In the audio heard above, Shmurda says he is required to pay all $2 million of his bail, although most cases accept the minimum of 10%, which he claims he has.

Bobby also said it wasn’t his bail that got denied – it was the petition to get his bail reduced to a lower figure. The 21-year-old rapper also mentioned that he hasn’t been in contact with his record labels in a very long time.

Check out the full explanation above. Bobby’s next trial date is set for 2016.
