The past few years have been crazy for iLoveMakonnen.
With the assistance of Drake, his internet hit “Tuesday” went viral in 2014 and since then, everything’s been going up for the Atlanta-based artist. While he was relatively focused on getting in shape in 2015, iLoveMakonnen came through strongly at the end of the year with a mixtape with Rich The Kid and his ILOVEMAKONNEN 2 project.
In an interview with PAPER magazine, Makonnen revealed he’s enlisted some A-list talent for his full-length debut LP. Not only does he have an upcoming studio session with David Guetta, but he’s already wrapped multiple sessions with Rick Rubin and Kanye West.
But before he gets too wrapped up in the album creating process, Makonnen’s planning on taking a relaxing vacation in Australia.
Makonnen’s OVO debut LP is set to drop sometime in 2016.
