Meek Mill is bringing in the new year the same way he ended it: taking shots at Drake.

This time, the rapper took the music route instead of using his Twitter fingers. Meek released a second installment of his 4/4 EP which dropped the same night as Drake’s new track Summer Sixteen.

The plot takes an interesting twist during one of the tracks, “War Pain,” where Meek is heard responding to each one of Drake’s disses during “Summer Sixteen,” leaving many wondering how the rapper was so ahead and prepared this round. Meek took to Instagram, uploaded a picture with a big grin on his face, and wrote: “The ghost writer told me!,” which leads people to believe that ghostwriter Quentin Miller may have tipped Meek off about the Drake record.

Looks like the Drake/Meek Mill saga continues. Check out the second installment of Meek’s 4/4 EP here.
