Well, if the President approves…
During an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the expectant Chrissy Teigen casually revealed that she and President Obama are apparently on a first-name basis. When asked whether Chrissy and John Legend have decided on a name for their daughter-on-the-way, she replied:
“We change it all the time, so if you have a suggestion. I asked Barack..” at which point the audience broke into laughter and Chrissy quipped, “we’re like very first-name basis.” Although she wouldn’t reveal any of the names in consideration, she did say that POTUS approves of one that John “isn’t quite sold on.”
“I asked President Obama if he liked one of our name choices, and he said he did. But then I realized I should have come up with two so he could have picked one, because you know, you gotta be nice about it when you give someone a name,” she said.
Unfortunately, the President’s opinion didn’t sway John, as he still believes the name is “too Hollywood.” Looks like we’ll have to wait and see what these two decide on. In the meantime, Chrissy’s cookbook Cravings just overtook Harry Potter for the top spot on Amazon.
