The ever-so-popular BlackBerry is introducing their latest BlackBerry Style 9670 design. Research In Motion, also known as RIM, designed this new flip phone to up its cellular game.

However, the design of the BlackBerry Style 9670 is much larger than that of its Pearl predecessor since it features a QWERTY keyboard. This sleek mobile phone comes with both internal and external screens, an 8GB memory, along with a 5 megapixel camera.

The QWERTY keyboard is the most used modern-day keyboard layout. The QWERTY design is based on a layout created by Christopher Latham Sholes in 1873 for the Sholes and Glidden typewriter and sold to Remington in the same year, when it first appeared in typewriters. It was designed to minimize typebar clashes

Quick Facts about the new RIM (Research In Motion) Blackberry 9670

-When closed, the Style is 3.78 inches long by 2.36 inches wide by 0.73 inch thick. When open, the length increases to 6.9 inches long.

-There is a 2-inch external display on the front, while the main display is 2.7-inches diagonally and supports a 360×400 pixel resolution.

-On the back is a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, digital zoom, VGA recording, flash, and image stabilization.
