Hey grinders! Now that football season is over and done with, it’s time for us to celebrate ALL STAR WEEKEND! The action goes down the weekend of February 12th-14th in Dallas, Texas and NBA players like Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James will be in attendance as the all stars. While these players are all stars (get it?), I found some footage of some present and past NBA players that tried their hand at acting.
Kareem Abdul Jabbar- ‘Airplane’: Filmed in 1980, Kareem Abdul Jabbar plays co-pilot Roger Murdock in this American comedy film directed and written by David Zucker.
Shaquille O’Neal- ‘Kazaam’: Shaquille O’Neal is Kazaam, a genie who comes from a boombox to grant a little boy three wishes.
Patrick Ewing- ‘Senseless’: Patrick Ewing plays himself and tosses Marlon Wayans after Marlon loses his sight and accidentally talks mess about Patrick to Patrick.
Ray Allen- ‘He Got Game’: Ray Allen plays Jesus Shuttlesworth, a talented basketball player whose jail-ridden father (Denzel Washington)is released from prison by the governor only to try convince Jesus to sign with the college that is the alum of the governor.
