Nas hasn’t really said too much on the split with Kelis, but he’s finally shed some light on how he feels regarding the split. He’s taken to his music and has actually addressed Kelis in his new track, ‘Strong Will Continue.’
In it he says, “How in the hell am I supposed to stay comfy/ When I pay child support, alimony monthly….’
The song is off the upcoming Distant Relatives project Nas is doing with Damien Marley, and it’s message is to stay strong through tough times.
Although it’s a positive message, a new version of the track just leaked, and it has a verse from Nas where he addresses Kelis and their child support situation. Nas raps in one line,
“So I’ve stuck with some married women so fine, cheating while their husband rushing on the 40-yard line/ Wonder if this is what my ex did the whole time….”
Will Kelis respond to Nas’ song? Will this start an ugly public feud?
