Greetings Grinders,

First, let me start by apologizing for being absent for the last month.  I have much respect for those who blog everyday and some even multiple times a day.  It is hard work!!!  My original intention was to blog once a week, but as I soon found out, it is a significant time commitment which became increasingly difficult to meet with my other obligations.  I would never want this blog to become an obligation because I want to give my readers my most inspired thoughts.  With that being said, in order not to let any of my faithful readers down, I will try my best not to be a distant stranger and to share my thoughts as often as possible.  I see all the words of encouragement via my Twitter, and I want to thank you all for that.  Moving on….

The biggest news in fashion yesterday may have been the bold statement made by Willow Smith at the premiere of new movie “The Karate Kid.”  The entire industry voiced their opinion on the young star’s choice of wardrobe.  In case you missed it, the 9 year-old daughter of Will & Jada Smith possibly out shined her brother, Jayden, at his own premiere with her daringly fashion forward fit.  As BlogXilla reported yesterday, “Willow Smith has that much swag.”  She posed on the red-carpet with a cheetah-print jacket, leopard-print pants, and combat boots, complimented by fierce accessories, including a giant gold link chain, printed sash belt, mini black and gold chain bag, and round shades.

In a lesser known headline yesterday, one of fashion’s most iconic women, Princess Diana, put her stamp in fashion history once again.  On Tuesday, her famous silk black tafetta dress was bought in a “Passion for Fashion” auction in London for $276,000 by a Chilean museum.  The dress was originally made famous when Princess Di wore it in 1
