Kanye West has been in the limelight for his feature short film ‘Runaway’ which is an artistic feat for even a man as accomplished as Kanye. 

After releasing many successful albums, Kanye is getting more and more creative and involved in producing larger than life projects and ‘Runaway’ will be a big footprint in the hip hop world. 

Recently in an MTV interview with Sway, Kanye opens up about his views on homophobia, stealing, and what black power means to him.  We rounded up a collection of some of his most memorable quotes from the interview and stills from his new movie, ‘Runaway’

‘Hip hop is about fighting for your rights speaking your mind breaking down barriers or whatever but everybody in hip hop discriminates against gay people. To me that is one of the standards of hip hop. The exact opposite of hip hop is gay. I want to come on TV and tell my rappers and friends, stop it fam, that’s really discrimination to me that’s exactly what they did to black people. ‘
