Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron hit the red carpet last night as we found out Zac is a Kid Cudi fan who admires Kurt Cobain. As we know, Zac Efron has been taking on more serious roles lately and the High School Musical star revealed a secret that most people probably did not know. When Zac Efron sat down with a GyantUnplugged.com to discuss his new movie ‘Charlie St Cloud‘ among other things and we discovered that Zac is a huge fan of hip hop.
In the interview Zac Efron reveals that his brother recently put him on to Kid Cudi‘s music in Hawaii saying ‘I knew about Kid Cudi a little bit, but my brother… but I downloaded the last couple of albums and I’ve been listening to him during my whole trip’ to Atlanta. Zac Efron also reveals he’s a fan of Lil Wayne and Kanye West as well as recently picking up the Recovery.
Also in a recent interview with The Press Association Zac reveals that he needed to slow down from his normal type of movie opting for more serious dramas. ‘It’s just something different. I just knew what I had to do personally and that was slow down and really do something that was a challenge,’ he explained on the red carpet. ‘I wanted to do something that was really hard, see how far I can go,’ he said, before adding: ‘I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks.’ This might explain why he’s closer than ever to playing Kurt Cobain in an upcoming biopic.
