Donald Trump has been hinting at the idea of running for president. In a poll released Tuesday, it suggests that the real estate mogul and the ‘You’re Fired!’ guy is the best positioned candidate to beat President Obama in the 2012 election.

A new survey released from The Daily Beast/Newsweek indicates President Obama is ahead of Trump by only two percentage points, 43-41. The poll, conducted between February 12-15, surveyed 918 likely voters. From all the Republican candidates, only three are ahead of Trump in the GOP presidential race, Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at 19 percent, Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee at 18 percent, and Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin at 10 percent, however it is Trump who has the best numbers against Obama.

Upon hearing this incredible information about ‘The Apprentice’ boss, GlobalGrind reached out to Mr. Trump about his intentions for 2012 and the state of the union:

‘This country is no longer respected.  Other countries are taking advantage of us left and right, whether it is China, OPEC or others.  We have become a laughing stock around the world and I will be making a decision whether or not to run for President of the United States by June.’
