The importance of life is not defined by the labels of society; importance is defined by hard work and dedication. Focus with intentions to win beyond a reasonable doubt is the truth of the weight of life. Behind the curtains of life, there is shadow of light that is often presented before ignored. We stand as one but in life we define happiness by the term “fame” but when are the truths of life, the true definition of importance witnessed? Standing in the shadows of the lights, I have been afforded the opportunity to see what some consider the “darkness” & others consider the truth of life, the “fame!”
As the cousin of Venus & Serena Williams, I have been afforded opportunities to witness what others desire or rather demand because they consider the light of happiness to be the unknown fame. The lacking of understanding for their fame is in their personal dedication to their sport, ability to be driven beyond the sport of tennis, support or rather offer a helping hand to family members, guide the youth with their charity work, but beyond the scenes they lean on their concrete foundation which is our family. I stand as a supporter of both Venus & Serena not because I am related to them but because they define what I consider the Utopia of Emotions which is love.

Today, Venus is presenting a piece of her heart which is “Come to Win!” As a writer, I find “Come to Win” to be encouraging & uplifting. Venus is removing the color lines presented by life. She is offering 46 contributors that are seeking to remove the label of athletes being defined by their occupation or rather their love.
People often forget that athletes have a passion & a gift as I have being a writer. Today, I celebrate along with my family, Venus Williams for being a professional woman with heart, goals, aspirations & encouraging all human races against adversity.
