Ne-Yo jus released the latest single from his upcoming fourth album Libra Scale.Produced by long-time collaborators StarGate (the team behind such hits as ‘Mad,’ ‘Miss Independent,’ ‘Beacuase of You’ and ‘So Sick’), ‘One Life‘ is classic Ne-Yo. Previous singles ‘Champagne Life’ and ‘Beautiful Monster’ have drawn criticism for being too pop and not up to the standard of Ne-Yo’s past albums, but this track strikes a good balance between his pop side and his R&B roots. Lyrically, the track is uplifting and positive without being cheesy. Libra Scale hits stores October 5.
