Music has always been a part of my life and I don’t know where I would be without the school music program I had as a child. It’s heartbreaking to see some many education budgets cut across the country and it’s always the music programs that are the first to go. There’s so much young students can do with music that will help them in every subject, that’s why it’s so important for us to help save these programs.
The Pepsi Refresh Program recently made that happen – with a $25,000 Grant the Adopt An Instrument program based in Spokane, Washington, was able to use the grant money from Pepsi to buy their students new instruments. Running a music program is hard enough these days and buying instruments is no easy feat. The money rewarded to Adopt An Instrument by the Pepsi Refresh Project will go far and help this music program thrive.
Great causes and programs like Adopt An Instrument are in need of funding and the Pepsi Refresh Project has committed to help fund some of these amazing ideas that will help communities around the country.
