Yesterday we told you about Gilbert Gottfried’s offensive tweets about Japan. Today it looks like those tweets have cost Gilbert his job as the voice of the Aflac duck. The insurance company issued a statement, which said:

“Gilbert’s recent comments about the crisis in Japan were lacking in humor and certainly do not represent the thoughts and feelings of anyone at Aflac.”

This leaves Aflac in need of a new voice for their trademark duck. At GlobalGrind, we’d like to help. We’ve come up with seven perfect people who could replace Gilbert Gottfried as the Aflac duck.

Scroll through the pages and see who we picked and why they would be the perfect person for the voice of the Aflac duck.

Charlie Sheen is unemployed and he’s a winner. He could bring new life into the Aflac duck character. Think about how many people would want to be insured by a duck who drinks tiger’s blood? #Winning

Speaking of drinking, how about giving the gig to deep voice veteran Tone Loc. The “Funky Cold Medina” singer would be the perfect duck. His raspy voice is super distinct and he could provide a jingle for the company. That would kill two birds with one stone.

The Nanny, Fran Drescher, would also be a perfect person to replace Gottfried. Her voice is equally as high pitched and memorable as Gilbert’s. We all know the sound of her voice and we can recognize it a mile away.

The Chocolate Rain guy aka Tay Zonday and his baritone voice could slide right in as the new voice of Aflac without missing a step. Any guy who could move his head to breathe in so the mic doesn’t pick up the sound, must be at ease behind the mic.

Keifer Sutherland is not just the great Jack Bauer, he’s a voice-over veteran. He starred in a movie called Phone Booth, in which you only heard his voice, and did we mention he was Jack Bauer? Keifer is pure perfection.

Not only does Keenan Cahill have a super deep voice, he can simply lip-sync all the Aflac commercials. Besides, people love him!

Busta Rhymes has been on a tear of late. The “Look At Me Now,” rapper has been jumping on record after record and killing it. Now, why not let his voice be filtered into homes across the world via the Aflac duck? The more we think about it, the more we think Aflac should hire him and consider themselves lucky if Busta wants the job.
