Waka Flocka Flame is about to release his first album called Flockaveli on October 5th, 2010. Waka Flocka has come under a lot of criticism for naming his album after the classic Tupac album Makaveli. I had the chance to sit down with Waka Flocka and ask him about people getting upset over the the name of his album and he said:
‘That’s on them, but honest to God truth I really don’t care. I ain’t use big dog name to sell records, God bless the dead’ Waka Flocka shared. ‘That’s my favorite rapper in the whole world. Him and Eazy E, but he introduced me to a story that was real and catered to my life at the time.’
Waka Flocka has no remorse for naming his album Flockaveli. Tupac was an idol to many and since this is still a free country, Waka can call his album whatever he likes. #XillaShrug
