Lacoste has a new line of high top sneakers coming out inspired by the French national colors, blue, white, and red, interpreted as the “Blu, Blanc, Rouge” collection.
The sneakers feature the trademark crocodile on the tongue of the sneaker and take on a two-tone color scheme with an outdoors inspired look with the hook lace detail similar to the look of a ski boots.
The “Blu, Blanc, Rouge” collection consists of three sneakers and will be released to stores this month.
This isn’t Lacoste first sneaker dedicated to celebrating a heritage or country, they also recently released, ‘Lacoste x I Love Tokyo.’ This shoe used the Missouri Lacoste silhouette with Japanese newspaper-print fabric on the uppers to keep with the ‘I love Tokyo‘ theme. The shoe is also trimmed with suede around the toe and premium leather around the collar.
