Jay-Z was in attendance today when they broke ground at Atlantic Yards in Brooklyn, the site for the Barclay Center, which will house the New Jersey Nets. Jay-Z, who is part owner of the Nets was joined by building developer Bruce Ratner, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Gov. David Paterson at the construction site. Jay is definitely ‘On to the newt one’ with this latest project, reminds of a lyric in that same song ‘Obama on the text, ya really gonna be afraid of what im gonna do next’ is this the big power move Jay was referring to? Maybe not seems like Jay has a couple power moves up his sleeves. Either way Jay always makes a big move. Check out Jay as he breaks ground in Brooklyn.
