If you want to see some good looking people dressed in nice clothes, then go to the opera.
You may not be able to afford a ticket, but a bus pass can take you right to the front door and into star gazing heaven. That’s what we did last night when we trailed the Olsen Twins uptown to the priemier of Rossini’s Le Comte Ory” at the Metropolita Opera House in NYC. Fashion designer Yves St. Laurent was the sponsor.
The Olsen’s are purveyors of recycling and layering, often times burying themselves under piles of clothes. Last night they kept the shapes simple, with minimal layering and lacy elegance. Mary Kate was wrapped in a stole which may have been mink and Ashley was shapeless and semi-layered in a long lace dress under a vest-like grey coat.
