Well it’s Labor Day in a America so this official marks the end of summer. Kids are heading back to school, the weather is changing, and the leaves are falling. With that said, let’s take a look back at the Obama family’s summer adventure. From Michelle Obama’s Spain vacation toPresident Obama coming to New York City and chopping it up with the girls from “The View” the first family had one eventful summer.

Boat rides, July 4th barbecues’ and b-ball games all made for an interesting summer for the Obama bunch. From Sasha Obama hitting a hole in one to Barack and Michelle opening the White House to the public for the fourth of July it was a summer full of fun and sun.

This summer posed many challenges for the President and one of his main challenges was the Gulf oil spill which dominated headlines for the entire summer. The President took many trips down to the Gulf and Florida region to re assure the people of the gulf that he was on the job. Either way, this summer was drastically different from last summer and the President steered the ship in the right direction. Take a look at the Obama family’s summer pics.
