Edgy fashion designer, Sally Lapointe, revealed her Spring/Summer 2011 Collection yesterday in a chic New York loft as a fashion week first timer. As a former painter, Lapointe’s collection was visually stunning with gothic chic undertones, which happens to be Lapointe’s self-proclaimed personal style.
In this collection Lapointe used her own personal style and inspiration to create the perfect marriage between sophisticated goth and futuristic edge. Although the collection was amazing, the excessively high platform shoes the models sported took the collection to another level visually.
Her love for art, attention to detail and her execution of presenting an abstract sophisticated goth collection, definitely had fashion gurus whispering.
