The star on the rise, Janelle Monae talks about sex and her black and white uniform in her interview with Rolling Stones. Just releasing her new album, “ArchAndroid” back in May the funk-rockstar hit Number 17 on the charts. Everyone knows Miss Monae for her clean-cut dress attire consisting of a black and white uniform, black tie, and 1950’s hairstyle.
Recently, some heated hearsays have hit surface about her sexuality. Rumors are swirling around that Miss Monae maybe a lesbian. Monae claimed she is not interested in women but instead has a love interest in androids. She stated in an interview with Rolling Stones saying:
“The lesbian community has tried to claim me, but I only date androids. Nothing like an android they don’t cheat on you.”

“I call it my uniform. My mother was a janitor and my father collected trash, so I wear a uniform too.”
The Kansas City gal hopes other people would follow her sci-fi futuristic clothing style. She already has one important person backing up her quirky image. Allegedly she has supporters in the White House including the very own President Barack Obama.
“People that worked in his campaign have told us he is very aware of me. He’s a fan.”
