Whats good yall?! You may or may not have heard of me, but I can guarantee that some of ya’ll may have heard my music! I go by the name of !llmind.
A few years ago, the homies Jake One and J Moore called me to ask me if I wanted to be in this new beat battle they are a part of, called Red Bull Big Tune. Of course I agreed to do it, and although I ended up not taking the national crown, it was a great experience to be a part of.
Beat battles are nothing new, but what Red Bull Big Tune has done is really organize and sensationalize the concept, bringing shine to producers worldwide. Music producers are kind of like a fraternity. We all inspire and respect each others’ crafts, regardless of ego, discography, or fame.Red Bull Big tune is just one outlet to share this unique dynamic to the rest of the general public

Since my experience at Red Bull Big Tune, I’ve continued to progress my career as a controller behind the boards, working with mainstream and underground artists, as a professor at NYU, and beyond. Reach for the stars and the sky will never be the limit. Peace.
