But, according to sources, now it’s their personal relationship that’s breaking down. It’s not yet clear what caused the split. But according to an insider, Heidi hates having to admit that her Spencer-loathing former best friend, Lauren Conrad, had a point about her blonde beau.
But adds the pal: “She was right, he is a selfish jerk.”
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have only been marriage for 18 months and now Spencer is living in the house alone while Heidi is staying with friends. This comes on the verge of Kim and Reggie, Sandra and Jesse, and Monica and Rocko. March hasn’t been a good month for love. Thank goodness for Kanye West and Amber Rose.
Now People reports the couple is NOT breaking up. ‘I’m not moving out,’ Montag, 23, says. ‘I love Spencer with all my heart.’ Adds Pratt, 26: ‘I love my wife more now than I ever thought I could.’
Heidi does admit that the idea of divorce did come up when she FIRED Pratt as her manager, but she changed her mind. Heidi said ‘all that we’ve been through has only made us work harder at our relationship and making it better. We’ve worked through things and will continue to work on our relationship so we’re the best couple we can be. We want to fall more in love with each other every day.’
