New York Governor David Paterson has pulled the plug on his bid to seek reelection, a source close to the governor said Friday. Paterson will announce his decision on Friday. Paterson will not resign though, he will stay and serve the remainder of his term.  The Governor has been under fire for having contacted a woman who accused one of his top aides of domestic violence. This opens the door to Democratic favorite Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to seek the nomination.
