ABC’s popular daytime talk show, The View, has hosted quite a few celebrities lately. 50 Cent recently made an appearance to promote his newest movie and President Obama stopped by to discuss his roses and thorns. However, no other recent guests have been more touching than rapper Snoop Dogg‘s appearance along with his wife Shanté Broadus and 11-year-old daughter Cori Broadus to the show on Thursday, August 5, 2010. The family openly discussed how they have dealt with young Cori being diagnosed with Lupus.
Lupus is a chronic auto-immune disease that attacks the body’s cells and tissues. This disease is nine times more likely to occur within women of non-European descent between the ages of 15-50. It is often called ‘the great imitator’ within the medical community because it is often mistaken for other diseases.
