Everyone’s toughest critic is now being judged for his own behavior by America and a court judge!
Simon Cowell knocked up the wife of his BEST FRIEND Andrew Silverman.
Even though Lauren and her husband are separated, Andrew filed for divorce July 15th, and Lauren is three months pregnant with Simon’s baby, according to PerezHilton.com.
Of course, the BFF was taken aback by it all! His brother, Alexander, says:
“It is an unbelievable story of betrayal. It is a sad story and a tragic story.”
But Andrew’s getting revenge and naming Simon as a co-respondent in divorce papers, which were filed underneath the cause of adultery, says USA Today.
What does this mean?
Well, Simon might have to testify when the Silvermans go to trial, and will have to probably agree to a settlement with Andrew. You know, since he did have an affair with his wife (which probably was one of the reasons why they’re getting a divorce), and because Simon is worth about $350 million!
And the kicker to all of this?
Lauren might’ve lied to Simon about being on the pill!

“The pregnancy has taken him by surprise. He assumed she was using birth control. Simon thought this was a casual relationship — friends with benefits… The pregnancy was not planned. He is feeling tricked… No question that Simon will want to be part of the baby’s life, but I’m not so sure he wants to be part of Lauren’s… She told him around [July 10th]. He didn’t have a clue before then and it has come as a complete surprise. . . . Simon has repeatedly said he doesn’t want kids… He feels let down by Lauren… They were friends first and foremost. This could be a ‘spite my husband’ sort of thing. Simon is convinced it was her friends who leaked the story.”
We wonder who’s got the short end of the stick: Simon or Andrew?
