The Daily Grind Video

Over the last four years, we’ve seen many, many acts perform with The Roots on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show. However, we’ve never seen a performance like this.

Last night Robin Thicke was on Fallon, and he seemed like he was in good sprits (a number one single and album will do that). In fact, he was so happy he let Jimmy assist with his performance of “Blurred Lines.”

Using only instruments that you would see in a sixth grader’s classroom (yes, that is Black Thought shaking a maraca) The Roots and Fallon help Robin perform one of the cooler renditions of his number one single you’ll hear.

T.I. couldn’t make it for the performance, so they had Black Thought perform a new, nifty verse for the occasion.

We give the performance an A+ for effort and execution.

Give it a look above.
