Talk about a triple threat!
La La Anthony has her hand in almost every jar as a hosting personality turned actress, reality star, cosmetics designer – oh, and not to mention wife to Knicks baller Carmelo Anthony and mother to 6-year-old Kiyan!
Anthony added fashion designer to her resume back in December, when she unveiled her new line, 5th & Mercer, which is exclusively sold at Shopbop. La La collaborated with her noteworthy celeb stylist, and friend, Jason Bolden to whip up her signature jumpsuit, which was subsequently spied on Gabrielle Union.
Fast forward to August, the duo has now released more pieces from the 5th & Mercer line, all echoing a stylishly chill vibe including staples that are on-trend with fall’s fashion forecast. The collection, which is small but mighty in terms of offering, features pieces ranging in price from $75-$195.
In a recent interview, La gabbed about her design aesthetic and pulling inspiration from her famous best friends: Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, and Ciara:
“It was all about what we wear now and also, what would we like to add to our closets,” she said. “We all look to each other for advice.”
La also wanted to have a look for every woman by providing pieces that could be versatile enough to be worn with daytime flats, and switched up to sexy stilettos for night.
