Cher Lloyd has a fun, outgoing personality that really translates into her music.
The “Want U Back” singer links up with T.I. for her new single, “I Wish,” which was expected to drop August 31st, but has found its way to fans a little bit earlier. The single is the first release off Cher’s forthcoming sophomore album.
“Yeah, baby, I seen the chick you’re with, wish that I never did/ Freakin’ perfect and 5’10, just wanna punch your lip/ ‘Cuz I know I been wasting time trying to catch your eye,” she sings.
T.I. raps:
“Now don’t you wanna do something, baby/ With the roof gone, baby/ Aston Martin look retarded, like the coupe gone crazy.”
And even though there’s no release date for her sophomore album as of yet, Cher Lloyd revealed:
“I am trying to make these lovely people wearing suits bring it out quicker just because I owe it to the fans. They have been waiting very patiently, and I feel I’ve worked really, really hard on this one — not that I didn’t work hard on the last one, but I’ve been a lot more involved. Hopefully I’m looking at September.”
