After serving as the inspiration for the “Blurred Lines” music video, Robin Thicke decided to do his favorite magazine, Treats, a major favor!
Robin plans to perform at NYC’s No. 8 on September 4th at a party in his honor hosted by the magazine. The musician’s make-up artist reportedly handed him his first copy of Treats magazine a few years back and he and his wife Paula Patton have been fans ever since.
While trying to decide on the concept of his music video for his hit single, Patton encouraged her hubby to borrow ides from the publication. To ensure he and the men behind the scenes were on the same page about the video’s concept, Thicke showed director Diane Martel a copy of the publication.
Martel loved it so much she cast the magazine’s cover girl Emily Ratajkowski in the video!
The party is expected to draw an a-list crowd of celebs. Ryan Seacrest, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson and Kate Upton are just a few of the big names on the guest list.
