Electric singer Janelle Monae calls some friends from the “Dirty South” for her remix to “Electric Lady,” her duet with Solange.
The song features verses from day-one Dungeon Family members, Big Boi, one half of Outkast, and Goodie Mob’s Cee Lo Green.
In the remix, Janelle decided to take out the mic and bust a verse, instead of singing. Props to Janelle, who holds her own spitting alongside two of hip-hop’s greatest lyricists.
The song is an extra cut on the Target edition of The Electric Lady, Janelle’s sophomore album, which dropped on Tuesday.
