Pusha Sky? Guess Sky Ferreira is quitting her singing career to become a trap god.
Singer/songwriter Sky Ferreira and her boyfriend, DIIV‘s Zachary Cole Smith, were arrested in Upstate New York for carrying 42 decks of heroin, driving a stolen car, and an extensive list of violations.
Besides being charged with 42 decks of heroin, Zach Smith was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of stolen property, one count of aggravated unlicensed driving, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving without insurance, driving without a license, AND get this folks, having an “inadequate exhaust system.”
Sky was also found in possession of ecstasy and reportedly resisted arrest when being handcuffed.
Over the past year, Sky has fought the perception that she’s a drug addict due to her appearance. In an interview with Complex, Sky talked about how she isn’t “into” drugs:
“Well, actually, you know what else I’d like to clarify? I’m not a fucking drug addict. It drives me crazy because I don’t do drugs. I’ve smoked pot before, but I can’t do that because my throat hurts. I don’t even smoke cigarettes or anything. I don’t even really drink… hopefully everyone will stop saying I do drugs or crack or whatever. [Laughs.] I mean, I think it’s kind of funny that people think that.”
After an ungodly amount of delays, Sky’s long-awaited debut album, Night Time, My Time, is scheduled to be released on October 29th.
Hopefully, Sky and her bad boy boyfriend will get their lives together soon.
