It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus broke off her engagement to Liam Hemsworth after months of media speculation and rumors of her fiance cheating surfacing on the internet just last week.
Still, the young superstar is all work and no play so, even with all of that going on, Miley still hit up the iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend for a performance of her new single “Wrecking Ball” that left her in tears.
As she sang the emotional hook, tears spilled from her eyes and ruined her mascara. The tears were understandable, as the song goes:
“I came in like a wrecking ball
I never hit so hard in love
All I wanted was to break your walls
All you ever did was wreck me
Yeah, you, you wreck me.”
Whether or not Liam and Miley were done before he moved on with Eiza Gonzalez, this is a tough time for the songstress. She’s staying strong and that’s what we love about her. Check out the video below:
