Cara is out and doll face Rita Ora is in.
For the last few years, model Cara Delevingne has been dominating the runway and print ad realms with her brooding stare and IDGAF attitude, but there is one brand for whom she’s passed the torch: DKNY. Cara’s bestie Rita Ora has taken the throne as the new face of DKNY.
The ads for the brand’s Resort 2014 collection give us a look at Rita’s modeling skills (of which we get plenty of exposure to on Instagram) and a glimpse at some of DKNY’s goodies before they hit shelves.
Naturally, the shoot features all things NYC, which always unabashedly includes yellow cabs and equally as aggressive spectators, as well as an array of lights.
The brand is staying true to its recent throwback to the ’90s aesthetic with bold prints on athletic wear, and Rita is the perfect gal for the job! Check out some more snaps from the ad campaign in the gallery below.
