After being released from prison and coming out with a brand new track called, “Consumerism,” it looks like Ms. Lauryn Hill is ready to hit the road.

The hip-hop icon was supposed to complete three months of home detention in accordance with her sentence for tax evasion. But upon Hill’s request, she has been given permission by a judge to go on tour instead, from November 15 – December 31, according to TMZ.

And with that comes the requirement of approval for each stop of the tour from her probation officer. Lauryn will serve the remainder of her home detention sentence after the tour wraps up.

We can’t wait to hear Lauryn Hill’s forthcoming project, Letters From Exile, which drops later this year, and what culminates from her plans to tour next month.
