Don’t expect to see any chair-throwing or hair-pulling on the Basketball Wives season 5 reunion show. In fact, do not expect to see a reunion at all – because BW’s main star, Evelyn Lozada, has decided to bail.
Apparently, the reality star is tired of rehashing the past and even more tired of talking about her failed marriage to ex-NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.
VH1 producers feel that the other wives (Suzi, Tami, Shaunie & Tasha) do not have enough material to fill the hour-long show without the outspoken Bronx beauty, reports TMZ. So they’re just scrapping the whole thing all together.
Recently, Evelyn sat down with us and talked about her new endeavors, including becoming the spokeswoman for YouthH20 age defying system.
We definitely can’t blame Ev for not wanting to deal with all the drama, but then again, it has made her pretty damn famous. Guess we will have to wait to get our fix when Basketball Wives: LA returns.
