Janelle Monae has come a long way over the past few years!
From being invited to perform tributes to legends at award shows, to selling out her own concerts, she is really spreading her brand heavy.
Last night was another milestone for Janelle as she performed for the first time on Saturday Night Live!, and it’s safe to say she killed it!
Performing her hits “Dance Apocalyptic” and “Electric Lady,” Janelle looked adorable in some of her original rag-time outfits.
Dressed in all white for her first performance, where she definitely brought the energy, she then put on her signature black and white suspenders ensemble for her final song.
She’s currently on tour across the country, and her last stop is on November 26th. You don’t want to miss it!
