We’re sad to report that music legend and rocker Lou Reed, lead singer of The Velvet Underground and producer of Andy Warhol’s Factory, has died at the age of 71.
Although Reed underwent a liver transplant earlier this year, the cause of his death still hasn’t been released.
Reed is best known for his talented work as guitarist, singer and songwriter for not only the Velvet Underground, but also during his solo career.
Celebs immediately reacted with their condolences and tributes to the rock star:
R.I.P. Lou Reed. Walk on the peaceful side.
