Not much can top Zane Lowe’s interview with Kanye West, but the BBC host did get a lot of information from the self-proclaimed “Rap God,” Eminem.
Eminem kicked off his interview with Zane joking about outshining Kanye’s interview by “pissing on the floor” and “walking out.” Em opened up about the concept behind MMLP2, gushed about his mentor Dr. Dre, and revealed how “Rap God” is a total freestyle.
When asked about Dr. Dre, Eminem said:
“In my head, I’m still always trying to impress Dre to this day.”
Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 made the second-highest music debut this year, following close behind Justin Timberlake’s March 2013 release, The 20/20 Experience.
