Coming To America is undoubtedly one of the best comedies of all-time. As the classic film celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, Eddie Murphy (who played Prince Akeem in the 1988 hit) sat down with co-star Arsenio Hall on his new late night talk show to discuss the prospect of a potential sequel.

As the two reminisced over old times, it became clear that a sequel is unlikely. Murphy later let viewers know why:

“When Coming to America came out it was a bunch of lawsuits. There was some dude who was claiming he was the prince. I’d be out in the club and this African dude would roll up and say, ‘I am the real prince! You stole my life from me! And I want my money! I’ll kill you!'”

The good news is that both Murphy and Hall have managed to barely age since playing Prince Akeem and Semmi:

“We still kind of look the same too. Most people, you cut to 25 years later, they’d be like, ooh lord. Sometimes they have to tell you who they are.”

Although we would have loved to see this dynamic duo reunite on the big screen, it was pretty awesome to see them joke around like old times. Watch it above!
