The holiday season is a time to catch up with friends and family. It’s also a time to help out those in need, if you can.
The last couple of days, two of hip-hop’s most popular rappers, Big Sean and Meek Mill, have been giving back to those in their respective communities.
We’ll start with Big Sean who, through his Sean Anderson Foundation, handed out turkeys in the Metropolitan Detroit Area. Funnyman Mike Epps was around and he also lent a hand:
As for Meek, the MMG-rapper kicked off his Dreamchasers Thanksgiving event yesterday. The rapper, who was joined by Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, hung out with kids at the Hank Gathers Recreation Center. The rapper also gave out turkeys to those in need.
Meek’s event is a two-day thing: the rapper will be out and about again in Philly giving out more turkeys today.
We’re sure both Big Sean and Meek have some good karma coming back to them.
