When you think of Miley Cyrus, a few things probably come to mind, one of which is her wagging tongue that seems to suddenly appear every time she takes a picture or gets on stage.
Now, the “Wrecking Ball” singer is revealing the real reason she sticks her tongue out in the soon-to-be-released “10 Most Fascinating People” interview she did with Barbara Walters. Here’s what Miley had to say:
“I get embarrassed to take pictures. That’s actually the truth. I’m so embarrassed, because people are taking pictures of me, and I just don’t know how to—I don’t know how to smile, and just be awkward, so I stick my tongue out, because I don’t know what else to do.”
We guess that’s understandable, but Miley… you also stick your tongue out on stage and in Instagram selfies. Do you get embarrassed when you take pictures of yourself as well?
The Hip-Pop star went on to talk about knowing she’s not the person they make her out to be, saying:
“I know I’m not, so that’s why I just kind of laugh. I refuse to Google myself. The minute I stopped Googling myself, you don’t imagine what a happier person I am.”
In other Miley news, she recently took to Twitter to shut down rumors that she’s dating a high profile hip-hop artist. Following her performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Miley was spotted cozying up to Rapper French Montana. The two were photographed mid-hug; The photos went viral and, just like that, the rumor mill was abuzz with dating rumors.
Miley quickly cleared that up with two simple tweets!
