Now that we’ve finally caught our breath after all the antics, performances and awards of the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, we can talk about the only thing almost as important as the music tonight: the fashion.

There were notably some missing faces from the crowd at the Grammys tonight, namely Kanye West, Rihanna, Drake and Miley Cyrus. But the show continued on with some literal dazzlers on the red carpet. In case you were busy actually watching the show, we’ve rounded up all the fashion moments you need to see from the 2014 Grammys. You’re welcome.

When it came to trends for the night, all that glittered just so happened to be gold, as the ladies of the night mostly opted to keep things vibrant using metallic hues rather than bright colors. Amber Rose in Naeem KhanChrissy Teigen, Taylor Swift in Gucci and Ciara (and her little baby bump) in Emilio Pucci dazzled in gold gowns, while Rita Ora was on high shine in a green Lanvin dress.

While we are on trends for the night, there were a lot of white dress sightings, and no Kim Kardashian. Iggy, Beyonce, and Paris Hilton opted for white gowns, with Beyonce being hands down the best dressed of the night in a perfectly fitted Michael Costello Couture gown.

And if we are going to talk about white gowns, we have to show you what Cee-Lo was wearing on the red carpet…but I digress.

Pharrell‘s hat was also the topic of much discussion…and of many memes. We still can’t quite understand what’s happening up there.

Rita Ora shut down the mani cam when she walked it with this fun nail art. No, like we would imagine the mani cam experienced sensory overload and shorted out when she walked these bad boys down the mini red carpet.

Speaking of manis, Lorde (who was rocking straight-ish hair) was also rocking this strange dipped fingernail look. Just don’t rub your face, babe.

Taylor Swift proved that when it comes to perfect hair, it isn’t as much about the hold as it is about the flexibility. And we give her about 2 days before Pantene or Herbal Essences draws up the paper work to patent that hair flip for a commercial.

Oh, and there were prints, plenty of prints with Ashanti and Chrisette Michele, who both looked stunning in unconventional red carpet looks.

Chrisette’s makeup was on point, as was her mix and matched print suit and white talon nails. And good thing she had a little bit of protection with her nails because…

THERE WAS A TERRIFYING CLOWN RUNNING AROUND ON THE RED CARPET. Actually, it was just Musician Shawn “Clown” Crahan of SlipKnot…but still, c’mon dude.
