Meet Las Vegas’ rising star Yowda. Originally from California’s Bay Area, Yowda’s been calling “Sin City” his home since he arrived in the gambling capital of the world as an adolescent.
Over the past few years, Yowda’s been honing his skills as an emcee, which caught the attention of Maybach Music’s general Rick Ross. Like most things in Vegas, Yowda’s collaboration happened fast, and within weeks, he found himself poppin’ bottles alongside the boss.
The “Whip It” rapper recently stopped by GlobalGrind’s offices to discuss his latest single “Ballin” featuring Rick Ross, working with Compton’s YG, his City Of No Sleep mixtape, and of course, his forthcoming projects.
