We love Beyonce like XO, so of course we were tuned into the livestream of the Brit Awards yesterday to watch Bey take the stage and perform the hit for the first time.
Once the lights hit Beyonce on stage, she illuminated to the beat of 400,000 crystals – yep, her dress was made of that many gems.
While we would imagine stylist Ty Hunter to scoop a look from the runway of one of the many shows he frequented during New York Fashion Week, Bey’s fashion man went a different route with a glittering blue Vrettos Vrettakos couture gown from the young designer.
Born in Athens and based in London, Vrettos Vrettakos graduated from London’s élite Royal College Of Art with a Master’s degree in womenswear in 2005 and has since built a strong following worldwide, that apparently was fit for Beyonce’s taste.
Wondering where all these glittering gems to complete the dress came from? They’re from Swarovski, of course, as Vrettos Vrettakos is one of the select designers that has a relationship with the brand.
