Just days after her cool ass cover of Robert Palmer’s “Simply Irresistible” was released, Janelle Monae releases “What Is Love” for the RIO 2 soundtrack.
Not only is the “Electric Lady” lending her vocal chops to the RIO 2 soundtrack, but she’s also lending her voice to one of the characters in the animated film.
“What good is love, if it’s not your love,” sings Janelle.
Pre-order for the RIO 2 soundtrack is now available on iTunes. The RIO 2 soundtrack will be available in stores everywhere on March 25. RIO 2 hits theaters nationwide on April 11.
